a visit to the zoo

Dear Sumire,

I wish to write this post sooner, but it seems very difficult for me to blog in Melaka. I could never find the time! It's either I'm driving around, or eating around, take my bie bie out for a meal, or just chatting with my mum or sister, or it could be anything! Gosh!

But as busy as I am, I manage to change a template and banner for my blog! And to top it off, I even changed the favicon (the small logo at the tab and side of the link on your browser) with a Darlie of myself! I will make more changes to the blog IF I'm not too lazy.

I intended to write about my visit to Zoo Melaka last week. I brought my mum, my sister, and my darling with me. You might scratch your head asking why I went there with my family but we really enjoyed ourselves! It’d been quite some time since I’d been to zoo. The last time I was there with my cousins, we were still probably in primary school.

This time around, I’m old enough to register as a legitimate voter. And I registered in the ZOO! Not just me, my darling registered at the same spot as well. I do admit it’s a weird place to register though.

My biebie right after she got her registration slip.

The zoo had changed quite much since my last visit. Much improvement had been made. It’s clean and neat. And the best part of Zoo Melaka is that it doesn’t stink like it used to be. The second largest zoo in Malaysia is quite an animal sanctuary with more than 1200 animals of 215 different species. It’s not like I’m a professional zoologists, but even an idiot like me can tell there are a lot of animals there!

Of course, we went to the zoo to take a look at the animal. And I wanted to snap them. I wanted some good subject matter to practice on. My photography skills are getting rusty and I thought I should do something about it! But shooting under the hot sun can be very tiring! That's why I brought so many girls with me you know?

They carry my bag, my umbrella, and they take picture of me. I'm kinda like a big shot photographer at work.

Not just a big shot photographer, I'm like a big shot ugly model as well.
Just joking. I hope the girls won't kill me when they read this. ;-P

Well, I'm not gonna blab on about how big the zoo is, or how pretty the mini safari is and so on. If you want to know more about Zoo Melaka, you got to visit the place yourself. Instead, I'll show you how well the animal were kept! They all looked gorgeous!

But I gotta warn you, there ain't much picture in here either because I'm too tired to select and edit. What I'm about to post here is my personal favorite!
Let me show you the birds first:

I wonder if it's a pigeon. It looks like one, but seems too fat to be one.

I can't stand the this scenery really. I'd never thought that hornbills are yoga enthusiasts!

Did this bird went for rebonding? Her hair feather are silky straight.

This is the crested serpent eagle. Ain't it a beauty?

This bird got a weird name. It's called a Changeable hawk-eagle. Now I'm confused whether it's an hawk or an eagle or both.

This birds live in pairs. Lovely.

The flamingos.

I don't know what they call this bird My biebie told me it's a crane (silly me), but I'm super surprise it flies pretty high despite it's humongous size!

Now let's move on to the mammals alright? :-)

The Malayan Tiger@Pak Belang. This must have been my favorite edit of the day!

Guess what? when my mum saw this picture, all she said was 'hamsap'
(which means pervert!)
:-D

Kinda look like a double headed giraffe to me. LOL

There's quite an amount of reptile such as snakes and crocs there in Zoo Melaka, but this is the only reptile for today's post:

Is it toothless?

My mum can be considered as my personal photographer of the day. Almost every picture with me in it was taken by her. Seriously, I would say she can frame pretty well! I don't know since when, but my most of my profile pics are shot by her. ;-P

I probably get my artistic talent from her. LOL

Shot by my mum. I even made this into my blog banner!

Also shot by my mummy! All I wanted to say is that turtle looks really kesian with Eunice stepping over her like that!

Well, that's all for this post. Enough editing and typing for today. I probably ought to get some sleep now. Tomorrow I gotta drive back to Shah Alam. Gonna be a tiring drive, and I'm gonna miss Melaka so damn much! I'd only been back for one week and I wish I don't need to go back so soon. :'-(

Good night y'all,
jin
